10 on 10 | January Edition

With the start of the new year, I am starting another 10 on 10 blog circle. This time we are from all over Canada and the United States and the talent in this group is incredible.

Over Christmas I took my family on an 11 day road trip to California and we spent Christmas at Disneyland. Ever since having kids, getting their little butts to Disney was a huge dream of mine. As a child, I was fortunate enough to spend a month long family vacation on the road travelling all throughout the United States. This of course, included several trips to the happiest place on earth.

I never thought taking my children to Disney would be possible because just after having our babies my husband and I hit some really hard financial times and money has been tight ever since. Corrie Lindroos Photography was created to eventually be able to pay for an annual family vacation but even then, it seemed like a far off pipe dream.

After five short, hard years, I did it! We went to Disney and it was paid for by ME. It was the perfect vacation on so many levels and one I will never forget or be more proud of.

Our trip started with a quick stop at American Girl…

enjoyed several rest areas along the way…

wandered through the many rooms of The Winchester Mystery House…

met our Fairy Godmother at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique….

enjoyed the most magical day of the year at the most magical place on earth…

we got smiles from “ear” to “ear”…

drove through a gorgeous wildlife safari..

and then visited some friends on the oregon coast…

and lastly, reflected on what an amazing time we had.
