After two grueling years filled with medical challenges, pain, and transformation, Naomi decided to take part in the Unstoppable 40 Over 40 Project. “After the last two years, I needed a new beginning,” she says. “And I had no choice—Thelma and Louise kidnapped me.” Her best friends, Michelle and Dana, insisted she take this leap. For Naomi, beauty is no longer something to be proven to anyone else. A few weeks before her photoshoot, she got a spray tan, put on her lashes, slipped into a dress, and spent the evening entirely alone. “Didn’t go anywhere, didn’t see anyone—it was strictly a date for me, myself and I,” she recalls. “Sometimes you don’t need an audience to feel like a bombshell, darling. Beauty is a vibe.”
