They call him “Squish” | Williams Lake Newborn Photographer

Ideally, I photograph newborns within the first two weeks of being born. Almost every newborn that comes to the studio has inevitably picked up an enduring nickname within this short timeframe. This little one was dubbed “Squish”.

So as I was thinking about blogging this newborn session it dawned on me that I could not remember his REAL name. I actually had to pull up his client form to see what his given name was. That is when you realize that a nickname truly has stuck.

I am not sure that he will appreciate this nickname when he is 16 but for right now, it is the perfect little name for this perfect little Squish.
