Grad Session at Whitecliffe Park | Williams Lake Photographer

Graduation is a time of reflection, celebration, and looking ahead to the future. And a time for a gorgeous grad session. For Bella, this milestone was more than just the end of high school—it was the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Bella’s family had trusted me with their portraits for years, so capturing her grad portraits during our grad portrait session was a natural and meaningful choice. It’s always special to document moments like this, marking the transition from one stage of life to the next.

A Leader in the Making

Throughout high school, Bella excelled in leadership and business, demonstrating a passion for guiding others and making an impact. She was valedictorian for her graduating class, a testament to her dedication and hard work. While she had planned to play basketball in her final year, an unfortunate ankle injury during the first practice kept her off the court. Still, her resilience and drive remained strong, and she continued to shine academically and as a leader among her peers.

The Next Big Adventure

Fall of 2024, Bella began her next journey at the University of Victoria, where she had been accepted into the business program. While she’s a homebody at heart, this move was an exciting adventure, pushing her beyond her comfort zone and allowing her to grow in new ways.

Outside of school, Bella found joy in the great outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, mountain biking, or swimming, she embraced nature as a way to recharge and connect with the world around her. Her love for adventure and movement will no doubt serve her well in this new chapter of life.

A Presence That Will Be Missed

As Bella spread her wings, her family undoubtedly felt the change at home. She was the one who walks into a room and immediately asks, “Alright everyone, what are we gonna do today?” If there’s an agenda, she’s eager to join. If there isn’t, she’s the first to create one. Her energy, enthusiasm, and ability to bring people together is deeply missed.
