I am so behind on blogging my sessions. Which is kinda pathetic considering the world had been put on pause for 3 months but nonetheless, here we are!

This was a very special maternity session. This momma had a very stressful, bed ridden pregnancy and I was worried that we were not going to be able to photograph her. We had to re-schedule once because she was hospitalized. Thankfully, this gorgeous momma managed to make it in to our studio and we were able to capture the beauty of all her hard work and sacrifice.

I absolutely love maternity sessions. Even though most women do not feel their most photogenic, it is a time in their life when they have never looked more beautiful. Pregnancy is so different for everyone in how they look and feel but it is incredible to think that your body is creating life. That is truly the ultimate super power and I think it needs to be celebrated for the beauty that it is.

Selfishly, I would have loved to be able to photograph their newborn son but sadly he arrived at the start of world shutting down. At the end of the day, all that really matters is that she was able to deliver a beautiful, healthy baby boy and their family has grown by one!
